Refurbishment of Priory Row Cottages

Heritage and Cultural Tourism is one of the most exciting and rewarding ways of conserving historic buildings for future use.
Historic Trust Coventry asked us to help with their integrated and city-wide tourism offer, by changing the use of the former Lychgate Cottages, back to residential, to renovate and refurbish them as holiday accommodation.
Now managed by No Ordinary Hospitality Management, the Cottages form an integrated part of Coventry’s Tourism offer, allowing visitors to not only stay in an enhanced, period accommodation, but also to link the history of the properties with the City’s history, and the other tourist attractions in the area.
The project was funded, in part, by the Architectural Heritage Fund, and was completed through 2021.
We are members of the Ecclesiastical Architects’ and Surveyors’ Association, and are currently developing our knowledge further through the Building Conservation Accreditation ICOMOS Guidelines.
