Our service to our residential Clients includes drawing on our problem-solving capabilities, our experience with residential projects, and our insight into what can be done within your budget.
We can suggest new ways of utilising space and light, enrich the palette of materials, finishes or fittings, and help find a builder at the right price. Through our accrued experience, we can also propose design solutions that will reduce your overall running costs, maximise the energy efficiency of your home, and very often, your investment in our professional fees will prove a sound investment.
We enjoy using our experiences and contacts to give you the best project possible, and we aim to help you achieve your aspirations and vision. As your Architect, you will always have us on your side, and as such we will offer you our knowledge and experience of the construction industry.
Our approach to residential projects have this nature have several elements of service.  We feel that our attention to detail, and our approach to a dedicated service, differs us from our competitors, and offers you best value.

 

Where instructed to do so, we offer the following elements of service, as standard:

  • One-to-one initial assessment and consultancy, usually at your home;
  • Design brief development, in partnership with you, which we then confirm to you in writing;
  • Concept Design, including budget planning;
  • Detailed Design;
  • Preparation and submission of Application(s) for Planning Permission;
  • Ongoing liaison with the Planning Authority to help determine the Application(s);
  • Development of detailed design, in partnership with you;
  • Preparation and submission of an Application for Building Control Approval;
  • Ongoing liaison with the Approved Inspector or the Building Control Department to help determine the Application;
  • Further development of detailed design, including reducing risk by ensuring important design decisions are made, in partnership with you;
  • Preparation of Specifications, Schedules Of Works, Tender Drawings;
  • Tendering the works to a number of local builders, who work with us regularly, and are accustomed to the nature of works expected;
  • Advising and assisting you with the selection of a Builder;
  • Working with the Builder, to construct and deliver the project, on time and on budget.
