Project Description

An existing Industrial unit that is located on the north side of Alderman’s Green Industrial Estate, at the corner of Dutton Road and Heyford Close has now been redeveloped to house the new Moat House Business Centre.

This existing building is to be altered to accommodate 10no. new units which includes 5no. workshop units on the ground floor and 5no. office units on the new first floor.

The development also includes the installation of a new platform lift within the existing entrance, new female toilets, a new board room on the first floor and new parking facilities.

As a community based charitable trust the project undertaken was a new and important investment for the trust as it involved the purchase and conversion of a large industrial unit into multiple occupancy units. Furthermore with an element of public funds there were the associated requirements for value for money, transparent processes and a clear audit trail.
