Client Testimonials

Over the past two years Vagdia and Holmes have worked with Moat House Business Trust , to transform our wish-list into plans, changing them as our hopes grew, and then readjusting them again to meet our resources.

“There are very few small/starter business facilities within the local area, but with this new facility, the Moat House Business Trust is set to promote, inspire hope and enable people to discover that the dream of starting their own business can be a reality”.

She went on to say;

“Vagdia and Holmes Architects have worked hard and we are very happy with the outcome of what has been a long journey.  We are pleased and very happy that our vision has come to fruition and the Business Centre will for fill the needs that businesses require to get off the ground and make a start”. We are very excited about the future of this building and what it represents to our local community.  Eleanor House, Project Manager, Moat House Community Trust (2013)

“On behalf of MHCT I am pleased to provide a reference for the architectural services provided to MHCT by Vagdia and Holmes.

As a community based charitable trust the project undertaken was a new and important investment for the trust as it involved the purchase and conversion of a large industrial unit into multiple occupancy units. With the challenge of not only a tight budget and tight deadlines; it also required tendering for and managing contractors building contractors.

Furthermore with an element of public funds there were the associated requirements for value for money, transparent processes and a clear audit trail. A particular additional feature was the need to engage and communicate effectively with community and Board members most of who had little, or no understanding of the technical requirements involved.

I am pleased to say that Vagdia and Holmes did an excellent job in every respect meeting the deadline, keeping within and managing the budget, overseeing contractors whilst developing a good and trusting relationship with the community and Board.

In summary MHCT is pleased to provide a reference for Vagdia and Holmes.”  Dianne Williams, Vice Chair Moat House Community Trust (2013)
