City Architects Vagdia and Holmes are giving back to the City, through supporting the Coventry Cyrenians with raising their awareness.
Coventry Cyrenians provide a range of services to the homeless, vulnerable and disadvantaged people of Coventry, and through their programmes, help empower them to live as independently as possible. To help their programmes, the Architects have offered to co-sponsor the registration of Cyrenians staff for this year’s Coventry Fun Run.
Helen Fairhurst, Fundraising Manager said;
Our partnership started with a friendly banter on Twitter – but it soon turned into a challenge that we could not turn down. Vagdia and Holmes were trying to drum up support for the Fun Run, and so we convinced our staff team it would be a great idea to put a team together. We accept the Architect’s challenge of getting us to register!”
The Coventry Fun Run celebrates it’s 30th year in the City, and remains unique as a fundraising event, as runners can raise money for their own charity or worthy cause. Director of Vagdia and Holmes Architects, Dhiran Vagdia said;
“We’re just delighted at being able to support the people of Coventry, either directly through our involvement with sponsoring this year’s Fun Run, or through partnership agencies such as the Cyrenians. Every effort helps tremendously.”
